KV820-002P is a high-performance aftermarket air-oil separator core manufactured by Keltec Technolab, a well-known North American industrial filter maker. Designed specifically for screw air compressors, it serves as a high-quality interchangeable alternative to OEM parts. It can efficiently filter lubricating oil mist from compressed air, guarantee downstream air quality and reduce system oil consumption.

• Excellent Deep Coalescing Separation Efficiency: Equipped with high-grade Borosilicate Microglass filter media and a deep pleated structure, it controls the residual oil mist concentration in compressed air at an extremely low level of 2–3 ppm / 2–3 mg/m³.
• Ultra-Low Initial Pressure Drop: When newly installed, its designed clean pressure drop is only 2–3 psi (0.14–0.20 bar), effectively reducing the energy consumption load of the air compressor.
• 100% Independent Electrical Grounding Test: Every filter element undergoes rigorous electrical grounding testing before delivery and is fitted with high-quality conductive gaskets, completely eliminating safety hazards caused by static accumulation during operation.
• Robust Collapse-Resistant Design: Reinforced perforated steel mesh and corrosion-resistant end caps are adopted both internally and externally. It can withstand a working differential pressure up to 70 psi (4.7 bar) and prevent structural collapse of the filter element under high-pressure impact.

Differential Pressure Monitoring: ◦ Upon new installation, the normal initial pressure drop is approximately 2–3 psi (0.14–0.20 bar). ◦ When the oil separator differential pressure shown on the control panel reaches 10–15 psi (0.7–1.0 bar), replacement must be carried out promptly. ◦ Do not continue operation if the differential pressure exceeds 15 psi (1.0 bar). Otherwise, the energy consumption of the air compressor will rise sharply (power consumption increases by about 1% for every 0.1 bar rise in differential pressure). The internal support frame of the filter element may also collapse under pressure, causing a large amount of lubricating oil to flow into the downstream pipeline. • Scheduled Replacement (Replacement Cycle): ◦ The standard design service life of this filter element is 2,000 to 4,000 hours. ◦ Even if no differential pressure alarm is triggered, forced replacement is recommended once the operating hour limit is reached or one year has passed since the last replacement. The filter media will degrade after prolonged exposure to high-temperature oil-gas mixtures.
